Sound Isolation: Analysis of how much sound is reduced by specific walls, ceilings, doors, and glazing (for both interior and exterior adjacencies).

Room Acoustics: Tuning the interior sound quality of a space by recommending room finishes and quantities of acoustic treatment tailored to room size, and specific room uses. This typically involves studies for reverberation and room shaping.

Interior HVAC Noise Control: Providing analysis-based recommendations to reduce noise produced by the HVAC systems we all live in from day to day. Some rooms benefit from as much silence as possible, like a recording studio or performance space while other rooms benefit from a certain amount of background noise, like an open-office setup.

Mechanical Equipment / Building Vibration Isolation: The prevention and attenuation of structure-borne vibrations is the goal of building and mechanical equipment isolation.  Once vibration is transferred into a structure, it may be felt, or in some cases heard. We work with architects and engineers to design systems that are quiet from the outset and also consult on existing buildings to measure and document noise problems and recommend corrective measures.
