Experience
Said is a Staff Consultant at Cavanaugh Tocci Associates. His experience at Cavanaugh Tocci Associates includes consulting on architectural acoustics, sound and vibration isolation, and noise control in HVAC systems. Typical projects he has assisted on include music performance and rehearsal facilities, schools, office buildings, worship spaces and hospitals.

Prior to joining Cavanaugh Tocci Associates, Said worked at Electric Boat and Leidos, where he developed the skills necessary to create FEA models for evaluation of structural and underwater acoustics, and he learned principles of psychoacoustics and programming languages to automate evaluation protocols for speech intelligibility metrics in communications systems.

In his spare time, Said is a guitar wizard, an aspiring home barista and enjoys learning languages.
